Shira & Wesley | Richmond Engagement

I met up with Shira and Wesley for a warm VA morning engagement session down in the heart of Richmond a couple weeks ago. Richmond is such a cool, old town; and it definitely helped having native Richmonders with me to tell me all about it as we rode around! We started the session at the park they visited on their first date, and ended the session at Main Street Station! It was my first time shooting at the train station, and I just adored all the lines that begged to be framed.

his session makes me miss the city so much!! Moving from Houston, TX to Fredericksburg, VA is quite the change for a girl...no Galleria and high rise buildings just minutes away! I love the hustle and bustle of a city, with GOBS of things going on all at once! So shooting in Richmond was such a joy for me! And it was quite a welcome change:)

Lexi | Richmond, VA Portraits

This past Saturday I drove down to Richmond to meet up with Mary of Mary B Davis Photography for coffee and a little shoot with one of her friends. The morning was filled with delightful conversation, yummy morning coffee, and something I rarely do...Shoot at high noon. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought to shoot at this time of day...the only scary thing was the insane HEAT and sweat factor!
