After a couple reschedules, the day finally came for Victoria and John's session...and of course, as I was driving to the location it starts POURING DOWN RAIN. I just prayed and prayed for a break in the rain! I mean, they were coming from Richmond, I had a wedding the next day with no room to move the session to another date, it just HAD to happen that day! Well thank goodness, the rain stopped just in time for us to start shooting. It sprinkled a teensy bit, but hey, if that was all we got, I can't complain :)

t all started with a couple kindergarteners and some leprechaun traps. I kid you not. These two have the sweetest photo of the two of them in kindergarten holding up their leprechaun traps proudly on St. Patrick's Day. KINDERGARTEN LOVE!!! Ahhhh! Anyways, it's so cute....so cute that we're pulling out that photo at the wedding! Maybe they should make new leprechaun traps for the wedding?! HAH! How funny would that be?! Oh please do this guys :)
h my sweet goodness, I think it's love :) Am I allowed to be in love with a session?! Is it weird that I want to print them and hang them all over my house?! haha, ok, I guess that's what the office is for :) But seriously, the couple, their killer style, their story, the locations, the interactions, the ease they had with each other, the lighting! GAH! THE LIGHTING! I wish I could just snatch up the lighting from this day and keep in a jar and take it with me EVERYTWHERE. It. was. DIVINE. I mean, if I were on that show My Strange Addiction, I'm pretty sure my addiction would be chasing pretty light and convincing people to let me take romantic pictures of them in said light. That's right. I said it....I'm addicted to pretty light :)
annah came fully prepared for her engagement session...I'm talking multiple outfits to choose from for both her and Blake(which, I was in Heeeeeeaven!!), save the date props and ideas, and a completely excited mentality about the shoot! Win. win. win :)
ll thanks to her sister and his friend...who are now married...did these two meet :) I would love to have met my husband like that! Through a close friend or family member! So sweet! Diana and Travis are absolute dears, and it was my complete pleasure to get to spend an afternoon getting to know them during their session! I mean, they are amazing individuals, and so head over heels for each other. It was written all over their faces :) That is the best kind of love, in my book.
