hrough mutual friends, Aaron and Amy met one night where Amy was dishing with a girlfriend about all the qualities she was looking for in a man. As Aaron listened to every word that came out of her mouth, Amy ate on his french fries. Once they were gone, he decided it was only fitting to ask her out on a real date :) As time went on and they became closer and closer, it was time to propose. He had all the qualities she was looking for, except one...a boat. Living in Annapolis, she's always wanted to be out on the water and I don't blame her one bit! So before he proposed, Aaron bought a boat and surprised Amy with it. The first day they hit the water with it, he proposed! And how could she resist?! Of COURSE she said yes!
I met up with Amy and Aaron by the Oyster Museum, when Aaron pointed in the direction of a boat tied to the dock. He said it was his. I thought he was joking and just kept on shooting...then he mentioned it again...it WAS his boat! HAH! Foolish me. So we all hopped on, and Amy proceeded to tell me their story. "You got engaged in this boat?! Right over there?! Well, let's go over there!!" You'll notice in some of the photos there's a tower/marker-thing (not sure what it's called) in the water in the distance...it marks the spot Aaron proposed :)
Amy and Aaron are to be wed in Annapolis in August, and if you don't know already, I CAN'T WAIT to go back and be around these two! They are incredibly kind, genuine, and love to just have fun together. Everywhere they go they have a good time. They're those people :) But until the wedding, please enjoy my favorites from their engagement!

I'm totally mesmerized by this session. It's so cozy, intimate, and personal. They are a beautiful couple and their love is evident, but you shot it so creatively and with so much feeling. In love!
