ay hello to the new Mr. and Mrs.! Andrew and Amelia got married at Keswick Vineyards on probably the hottest day of the year us Virginians have experienced so far! For real. IT. WAS. HOT! Andrew and Amelia were true sports about it too! During the portraits, I'd ask them to snuggle and get closer and closer! Um, imagine doing that in some insane heat...yeah, they were awesome :) I hope you guys think it was worth it once you scroll down and see the photos ;)
This wedding was a dream to be a part of, especially to capture it. My goodness, talk about details galore! I was floored with the amount of love Amelia put into the planning of her wedding. Nothing was left unthought of or untouched. Girl after my own heart! I remember how intense I got with the details for our wedding :) I'll admit, I planned so much of our wedding just KNOWING it was going to be photographed and put into an album one day. I did! And it was soooo worth it :) haha
Amelia had this sweets table that was practically set up for me. I like to think it was :) It just photographed so beautifully! The colors, the textures, the CUPCAKES, the MACAROONS!! Perfection!! And just wait until you see her invitation suite and custom wedding blog (follow up post later this week). I'm telling you....she's good!!
Aside from all the killer details, the wedding itself was overflowing with love and emotion from their dearest friends and family. I just remember the heartfelt toasts from fathers and best friends, as well as the emotions coursing through the veins during the parent dances. Ahhh, so much LOVE! And the look on Andrew's face as he watched his bride walk down the aisle?! OMG, priceless :)
Andrew and Amelia, thank you so much for choosing me to capture the sweetness that was your wedding day! I hope you enjoy bringing back those feelings as you look through your photos time and time again. You were a blast to shoot during your engagement session, and a blast to shoot on your wedding day. I'd imagine it no other way :) So please, enjoy your wedding day!
Andrew really did this...as in, opened a bottle with his teeth. OUCH!!
I adore this next shot in the hilarious sort of way...if I had to choose one photo that said it all about this wedding, it'd be this one hands down. It was SOOOO HOT!! This was what they looked like between shots! haha
I might have been a bit obsessed with this pool and it's killer reflections :) Just maybe.

So many beautiful shots! YES it was super hot that day. Not only was that pool (and the entire grounds) beautiful but it would have been hard not to just jump right in! Great job. Every shot is beautiful!
