tarting the day with Joel by my side and these amazing Paris Hilton heels in front of me to shoot, I knew it was going to be a wedding for the books. Sometimes you just know; And boy was it ever! Around ever corner was a sweet sentiment, an heirloom, an unexpected detail, and not to mention incredible people to surround Heidi and Josh! I have to give huge props for such an open and willing wedding party during the photos! You guys KILLED it!!
Heidi and Josh got married in a gorgeous area of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in the afternoon. It was a beautiful ceremony, but BOY was it sweltering outside!! After the ceremony and a few photos within the gardens, the wedding party jumped in the limo to the next photo location...a place Heidi and Josh left up to my choosing...talk about trust!! All they told me was that they wanted something urban. Done and done :) I scoped out this building on the way to the venue and thought it'd be PERFECT with their wedding colors. OMG...it was! I was in heaven!
I know Heidi has just been dying to see these photos, and girl, I hope they bring it all back to you! Your wedding day was SO full of joy and love! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of it! And for your complete trust and faith in me to capture it!
World wide web, I present to you the wedding story of Heidi and Josh...enjoy :)

Completely adore the feel of these next few :)
A piece of Heidi's grandmother's wedding dress was wrapped around her bouquet.

Josh and his groomsmen had argyle socks on that each represented the college they attended. I was stoked when I saw these, I love me some socks!
It may have been sweltering outside, but it really was beautiful.
This next portion of the day was my favorite, hands down :) They had left over an hour in their wedding day schedule for us to peruse around town with the bridal party to take some more photos in urban locations! Um, hello!!! AWESOME!! Well, it just so happens we had even longer than planned...the limo we were all in overheated and we were stranded in this AMAZING location! Trust me, I wasn't heartbroken we had to wait on another limo since it gave us even more time for photos of them! :) YESSS!!!

Work it ladies!!

The replacement limo made it with perfect timing, so off to the reception!

Candy bar at reception + rings = "gummy bear army ring shot."

Details:
Wedding Gown: Oleg Cassini
Heels: Paris Hilton
Florist: Palette of Petals

Korie! these are amazing. That blue wall was the perfect frame, and the close up black and white ones where everyone is laughing are great too.
