eeeeautiful day for a wedding in Texas. Big blue skies, puffy white clouds, with a nice breeze to make you forget it was a little warmer than necessary :) Lauren and Brent got married at the Raisin L Ranch; the perfect setting for their laid back, charming Texas wedding.
I can't believe the places and opportunities this job has brought me (more on that tomorrow ;) ), especially being able to shoot the wedding of an old friend from elementary school! Lauren and I had stayed in touch since then (thank you Facebook!), and when she got engaged, she contacted me about shooting her wedding! Uhmm...heck yes! I can't tell you how thrilled I was to get that first email from her! I'm talking over the moon excited :)
Lauren and Brent, thank you for asking me to be the one to shoot your wedding! I'm beyond honored to have done that for you guys! And it was such a blessing to get to spend time with you and your families while I was there!
Little shout out to those I got to "reunite" with on the wedding day!: The Ruckstuhls (love you guys!), Molly(your son is the CUTEST cowboy!), Lisa, Lacey, Shelly, Neely, Clayton, my favorite Calallen moms! I LOVED seeing all those familiar happy faces at the wedding!

Their first look!

Brent had a camo tie...only in Texas!

Yep! This definitely happened. Groomsmen + shotguns :)

The next shot on the left, FAV! Way to work it, Lauren!

One of the coolest custom cake toppers I've ever seen!
The groom's cake was a dirt cake! Hence the worm! haha, so Lady and the Tramp.

For Lauren and Brent's first dance, they did The Grand March. I had NO IDEA what this was until they explained it to me! Basically, everyone pairs up, and follows the bride and groom in a line around the property, and then eventually they end up on the dance floor surrounding the couple! Something like that :) Take a look! It was pretty exciting to watch!

Speechless.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! These are incredible images...I am in love with every one. I stumbled across your blog recently and just love your work. It is simple, but so beautiful. You are very talented, Korie. Warmly, Emily
Love. Love. Love!!!!
I'm in love with the color of the bridesmaids dresses!! What color is it and where did you find it? My color scheme is similar, however the red I found is too red and less wine.
